Brainstorming is the tip of the iceberg

March, 2020

The "wow" factor is one of the trends for 2020 with regard to the organization of corporate events. But it all starts at Brainstorming, a very crucial phase of the process, since this is where it ends up being defined as the script of the event itself.

This measure, whether taken on an individual or group basis, will allow for spontaneous exposure of ideas, still in their raw state. It is a technique to stimulate the emergence of creative solutions, which reflect views as disparate as the personalities involved in this phase of planning. It is often carried out on an informal basis and in multiple sessions. It is called "breaking stone". The right to plurality of opinions and the absence of exaggerated criticism or scepticism is advised. Take the opportunity to "think outside the box".

Many of these ideas, however stupid they may seem at first, may even bear good fruit. Others will necessarily fall to the ground. However, the important thing is that the chain of thoughts and/or sharing of suggestions can actively contribute to the realization of the project.

Brainstorming is the beginning of a lot of work and is therefore considered the tip of the iceberg.

It's great for strengthening bonds between team members, fortifying internal communication and for giving individual confidence to each of the employees who thus feel their opinions valued. In this process, it is convenient to point out all ideas, for example in an Excel sheet, to later analyze those that will actually be feasible. You have to take into account your target audience and budget, with what kind of partners it will be positive to establish links. Brainstorming can also be used to point out potential setbacks and difficulties, especially logistical ones, and to find solutions.
