EUROPALCO started the year 2020 with an initiative different from anything it had presented before. We started by bringing our customers together on an "Open Day" at EUROPALCO's premises where we revealed the latest trends in the events sector.
And why is that? Because a year ago, in April 2019, we had our first TechDay and it was a real success! On this day we counted on the presence of our customers, partners and we promoted some of our creative, technological, innovative and customizable solutions. TechDay19 has served to enable us to continue innovating and always aiming to offer the best solutions to our customers. Thus, we have self-propelled ourselves to open the doors of our home every month, to show a certain technology, product or service. Thus, we began the month of January with the first Open Day of the year, under the motto “Silence Room and Simultaneous Online Translation”.

However, EUROPALCO did not stop there. As we are always at the cutting edge of technology, in February we held an Open Day on our latest acquisition: the 3D printing machine. This machine allows to print 3D objects in the dimension the customer wishes, so we showed all its features and also exhibited several 3D parts.
This machine is a solution that transports you to a "brave new world", having multiple purposes. If you couldn't be there, then now you have the opportunity to see here everything that happened on February 20, 2020.
The truth is, we were far from imagining that this technology would be a precious asset for the next month. In March, the country entered a state of emergency due to the Coronavirus pandemic (COVID-19) that spread worldwide.
Unfortunately for this same reason, we did not hold the March Open Day, but EUROPALCO could not remain indifferent and therefore used the 3D printing machine in the production of visors to help various institutions of the Municipality of Sintra in the fight against COVID-19.
The EUROPALCO team was obliged, in view of the current situation in which we find ourselves, to adapt all its activity to this new reality. We kept the focus and dedication, continuing to work from home always in order to respond to all requests from our customers. This way, we thought of an Open Day different from all the others for the month of April, and it will be adapted to the circumstances in which we live. Were you curious?
